What happens if my order is backordered?

Due to the handcrafted nature of Gabriel-Glas, occasionally we experience temporary inventory shortfalls.  Upon ordering if you receive a “backordered” notification,  your order will be promptly filled when our inventory is replenished.  When your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking information.   For further information about an approximate time your order will be shipped, please contact our office at 888-220-3464, or email us at info@Gabriel-GlasInternational.com.  If for any reason the delay in shipping backordered items is an inconvenience, you may instruct us to cancel the order and a refund will be issued.

Dishwashing, care and maintenance of crystal glasses?

Hard water or detergent film causes most haze problems on the crystal. Lime and other minerals in the water build up on the glass, leaving a white-colored haze. Detergent can also leave a white haze if it’s not rinsed off properly. The haze may cover the entire glass, or it may develop water spots as the water dries and the mineral or detergent residue hardens on the crystal. The film is both preventable and removable, and it doesn’t cause any permanent damage to the crystal.

If you use a dishwasher, place a dishwasher-safe bowl on the bottom rack of your empty dishwasher and fill it with a cup of white vinegar. Place the cloudy glasses on the top rack and run a full cycle without detergent. This will clean both your dishwasher and your cloudy glasses! We’ve also found that using gel dishwasher detergent can leave a film on glasses. Try using powdered detergent only, and use a little less than the recommended amount..

For severe film buildup, wash the glass with vinegar or use a commercial lime remover. Soak the glass in a solution of 1 cup of vinegar to 1 gallon of water, then scrub lightly. Dry the glass completely with a lint-free cloth to prevent further film buildup when the water dries.

Gift wrapping?

Gabriel-Glas provides a gift message, ribbon around the box or full gift-wrapping services. Please call customer service at 1-888-220-3464 ext 1 for lead-time and pricing.

Broken items?

If a recipient receives a broken item upon delivery, please immediately take a photograph of the item and the exterior of the shipping box and email customer service at info@gabriel-glasinternational.com . Customer service will need photos of the broken items, the exterior of the shipping box and the name of the recipient.

How do I return or exchange items?

All sales are final. In the event a gift recipient wishes to return a product, we will accept returns on the following conditions:

1. Gift Recipient pays return shipping (a returns shipping label with be provided)

2. A credit will be issued, or an exchange is possible, for the returned product

How long will it take for my items to arrive?

Orders are typically sent via UPS Ground. Please allow up to 12 business days for delivery time for US domestic orders. If rush orders are required, please contact customer service at 1-888-220-3464 ext 1. Special requests for 1-Day, 2-Day or 3-Day delivery are available with applicable charges. Shipping carrier options are UPS, FedEx and other carriers.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are calculated based on location, weight and dimensions along with the speed in which the package needs to arrive. Gabriel-Glas ships UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.

Why don’t you ship to my country?

Orders to be shipped in North America will be shipped from our warehouse in Northern California . Some overseas orders may be shipped from one our colleagues in Europe.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

How do I buy something?
